This volume analyzes the evolution of geopolitical and economic integration in the Eurasian area. The Eurasian integration is a growing phenomenon, and large scale analysis is necessary to avoid simplistic judgments based only on the geopolitical approach. The editors of this publication present different profiles of integration, such as the geopolitical and constitutional aspect, the relations with the European Union, migration issues, energy flows, the compatibility between the Eurasian and the WTO law, and the comparison with the European integration model. The book presents a wide range of viewpoints through peer-reviewed essays of specialists from Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Belarus, Italy, and France.
The book is of interest to academics and practitioners in constitutional, international and European law, international relations, and political science. It was published with the support of the Department of International Studies of the University of Milan, within which a specific multidisciplinary research group on the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, well known at the national and international levels, has consolidated its experience over the years.
